Watch repairs

I need a small repair to a watch strap- replacement of the baton that attaches the strap to the watch body- any suggestions locally?

The jewellery shop next to the greengrocers Fresh & Fruity opposite Newlands Park does some repairs. Or there's one on the RH side as you near Forest Hill station on Dartmouth Rd. http://www.alhamilton.co.uk/ I have used these before for a new glass face (no trouble getting one to fit) so if by baton you mean the spring clip watch part, they could well have or source one.
