Re: Lost mobile phone - Mayow Park
Thanks, guys! I appreciate the replies. Stuart, I'll have a peek at the link. It was, indeed, a long shot and I wasn't realistically expecting its return. I don't wish to fork out much on a replacement phone. Fortunately, she doesn't mind what kind of phone is attached to the end of her arm, as long ...

Lost mobile phone - Mayow Park
I know it's a long shot, but my 11 year old lost her phone on Friday at around 1:30pm in Mayow Park. Thankfully, it's only a very cheap bog-standard Nokia, but if anyone's found it I'd really appreciate its return.
Regards.

Re: Spa Beauty Treatments
That's the one, Savvy. JH aka Janis Hendrickson used to have a salon in East Dulwich. I think she opened here some time last year.

Dentist
I can thoroughly recommend these guys. http://www.perryvaledental.co.uk/ Alison Mitchell is the one whom I allow to sort out my teeth. If you're a nervous patient, she'll put your mind at ease. I think she's brilliant. I've also found that she won't recommend unecessary costly treatments, unlike one ...

Gosh, Im not sure how close you looked but was it a 'clean' beheading or a 'severed' beheading? Hmm, it was a bit of a gnarly stump, especially after the wee cub had taken a few bites. It's now a putrified sweaty head - until the pest control guys eventually come and fish it out of my bin. Judging ...

A grisly discovery.
An hour or so ago, I looked out of my window and spotted a bundle of something furry nestling beside my garage. Thinking it might be something a cat had killed and left, I went to investigate. To my horror, it was a severed fox's head with no sign anywhere of the rest of the body! I was about to ...

Re: Chicken shop
[quote You should see the mounting pile of collars and leashes behind Tung Sing House on Sydenham road. Now that's 'food' for thought! I appreciate you might be saying that their food hygiene leaves alot to be desired, but this comment is clearly racist and I find it offensive. You might also say ...

Racism.
I am a British Chinese woman who has lived in Sydenham for nearly 5 years. I too live in the Lower Sydenham end. I love it here. I have to say that, to date, I haven't experienced any racism here, aside from the usual loaded glance that 'we' instinctively recognise as unfriendly. Or is it just ...

SarahC, I just wanted to say how very kind I think you are in taking this dog into your home. If only there were more kindly souls like yourself. Are you usually so public-spirited or just an animal lover? Unfortunately, it would appear that this particular breed of dog is reduced to being no more ...

Hello Tootie, I sing with Lewisham Choral Society. We rehearse on Monday evenings 8 til 10pm in Bromley Road, Catford. You're not required to audition and it's a very friendly choir with 100+ members. This term we're rehearsing Handel's Dixit Dominus and Haydn's Nelson Mass. There's more info on the ...

Fleas!
Yeesh! My cat has a flea infestation. Last month I used Frontline succesfully and sprayed the carpets and whatnots. After having doused him with Frontline on Friday, I thought tonight I'd give him a thorough combing - to discover (horror of horrors) giant fleas complete with bulging abdomens full of ...

Brown Wheelie Bins
Does anyone out there have any info regarding the brown garden wheelie bins that were being trialed last year? Were they a success? Will Lewisham Council be rolling them out areawide? Or will it still be necessary to trek to the library to buy the council-regulation green bags, only to find that the ...
