Re: Sydenham Halloween - Wednesday 31 October

I'm so sad. This is my first year away from Sydenham after being there for 4 years. I finally have a little boy to participate (he's 2) as previous years I dutifully put out my decorations to welcome children to my home for sweets. Well done for organizing this for the children again this year ...

URGENT - EPC help please

I had an EPC done on my home in april 2010 but the company I used has gone under and I can't get access to my EPC. I have someone coming to do a new one tomorrow at 10 am but then on moneysavingexpert someone told me that I can "just ask any EPC provider to go into the register of EPC and locate a ...

Re: Local Nursery

Hi,

VERY intersted. My son will be 1 the day before I am due back out to work on the 4th July. I desperately need a full time place for him as I work 9-5 near London Bridge. Please give me details such as expected cost and location.

Thanks,
Sasha

Went out tonight but only as far as the bookshop and sugahill as I had my baby with me. Was lovely in both places and nice to have a cosy hot chocolate late in the evening :)

Re: Halloween

I'll be home giving out treats with my 4 month old who will be dressed in a glow in the dark skeleton onsie, and my dog who will be dressed as a baby. Last couple of years we got a handful of kids trick or treating on my street, hopefully will get some again this year. I know it's not a big thing in ...

Re: Parent/ baby groups

Hi, Just wondering if anything was ever started up for Sydenham? I had my baby boy a month ago and so far I've gone to the breastfeeding cafe on Wednesdays but that's all I have done. I'm not even sure what you can do with a baby so young but I'm on maternity leave until the end of the year so need ...

yes, 35 minutes is great, I did it last year in 34 mins. I really enjoy the event, it's such a good cause with all of us women getting together to help fight the disease. I would have really been disappointed in myself for not doing it this year once I was given the ok fitness wise from my midwife ...

Crystal Palace Race for Life this weekend

Is anyone doing it this year?

I'll be there, the 8 month pregnant lady LOL. I ran it last year and somehow thought that I could manage it this year but seems like I'm going to struggle. Good luck to anyone else who's involved :)

Thanks Susie, seems to be quite alot on that website. I'll have a trawl through it, prefer to start now and at least get an idea of distance from home, their hours etc. I think I prefer a childminder over a nursery, which seems to cost more yet they have so many more children to care for. How does ...

Child Minders

Hi everyone, I'm due to have my baby in July but won't need a childminder until March when he's about 7.5 months. I'm wondering how soon I need to start looking for someone as this is my first baby I have no idea what to look for. Also, does anyone have any recommendations? I live just off Kirkdale ...

Hi I'm interested but would like to have a look at the menu first. I seem to be quite disappointed by most Caribbean restaurants I've been to (being from the Trinidad in the Caribbean myself, I tend to be much more critical I suppose).
