Re: Covid Vaccination- Sydenham Green Group Practice
Thanks.
Think they may have an old mobile number for me. Luckily I have never had reason before to use the Practice.
I will try the online route.

Covid Vaccination- Sydenham Green Group Practice
Had a letter a week ago from the Sydenham Green Group Surgery asking me to call and book an appointment for my Covid Vaccination. I must have called the number they gave a hundred times. It just rings a few times then a recorded message tells me the mailbox I am calling is currently full.

Re: Outrageous Acorn Estate Agents
They've gone even further at my property. The downstairs flat (which Acorn manage) has had a 'To Let' sign put up on the gate post for the last few weeks. I assumed my neighbours downstairs were moving out. When I bumped into them, they told me they assumed I'd decided to let my flat! Neither is ...

Re: Broadband connection around Fairlawn Park
Just to draw a line under this. After 25 days of no Plusnet broadband I eventually get reconnected. This took about half a dozen calls to Plusnet customer services and no less than 3 visits by Openreach engineers. Plusnet continued to claim the problem was not at their end, the Openreach engineers ...

Broadband connection around Fairlawn Park
Anyone else completely lost their internet connection on or around Fairlawn Park? I switched to Plusnet only a few weeks ago and last Monday (9 days ago) I completely lost my fibre broadband connection. I have seen several BT Opernreach vans parked on Fairlawn Park in recent days so just wondered if ...

Re: Sydenham Man Loses £250,000 Violin
I know this is a deeply uncharitable thing to say but... I can't understand why he was taking it on the train anyway without, say, handcuffing himself to it.
I mean, I don't take my treasured mahogany acoustic guitar (which "only" cost me £350) outside much as it is very easily marked; I have a ...

Re: Old Co-Op and circus posters

These posters at the old Co-Op and the former Costcutter have been attached to the inside of the windows. Someone must have gone into the buildings. Perhaps a letting agent has done this. If so, why would they bother. The posters are just for a circus, and they're in shops all over Sydenham ...

Re: Old Co-Op and circus posters
They put them through the top of the door so they hang down. Very common practice.

Re: Trees at the back of Fairlawn Park
I have had a reply from Cllr Tom Copley as follows:
“The Council’s Tree Team have confirmed that the trees in question are on private land. They have explained that the trees in question have previously been inspected and actually belong to the Fairlawn properties, but over the years residents have ...

and yet the lake had to be closed.
The press are clearly lying to advance their own agenda. I don't know who's behind Kent Live but I'd bet its (one or a combination of) the Russians/EUSSR/George Soros/the Freemasons.
I'm sure I saw Vladimir Putin, Donald Tusk, George Soros and the Duke of ...

Re: Trees at the back of Fairlawn Park
Just a quick update on developments. I did contact all three of my Lewisham councillors, only Cllr Tom Copley replied (although they may confer and decide that one councillor should deal with the query so as not to replicate any action). I took some photos, as requested by Cllr Copley, and he has ...

Re: Trees at the back of Fairlawn Park
Thanks for the replies. I will contact the council to try and confirm responsibility for the trees. If I get no joy I may try our councillors and see if they can help. I am lucky that the line of trees ends part way across my garden fence so I am not affected as badly as others I suspect. My problem ...

Trees at the back of Fairlawn Park
My neighbours and I have an issue with a group of trees situated in the communal grounds of the flats of Bryden Close. The trees are situated quite close to the back fences of our Fairlawn Park gardens, and because they have not seen a tree surgeon since God was boy they overhand our gardens, and ...

Re: LEWISHAM COUNCIL PLANNING ENFORCEMENT DESPAIR
Sorry to read about this dreadful situation. An earlier poster mentioned contacting your MP. Have you done that? If you are where I think you are on Kent House Road your MP is Ellie Reeves. I have not had any contact with her myself, but she is a friend of a work colleague of mine and he speaks very ...

New Kitchen & Bathroom
I know this question has been asked before on this forum, but I am planning to have a new kitchen and bathroom fitted which may involve some building work to alter the size/shape of the two rooms. I see that Brian Brooks was recommended by several members, but does anybody have other recommendations ...
