Re: Neo Uno Bar and Grill
I walk past it quite often and it is always empty. I fear that it may bite the dust if business doesn't pick up!

I walked past on Sunday and they were open and serving Sunday lunch so decided to pop in.
The food was very nice indeed, and as it was their opening day we got a free glass of champagne each. If the weekday menu is anything to go by this is slightly more upmarket than the Mexican or the Tapas place ...

The Perry Hill pub
I know this pub is strictly speaking in SE6 but does anyone know what is happening with it? I have eaten there in the past and enjoyed the food but for the last couple of months it seems to have been closed. Does anyone know if it has been closed for good?

here here! I went for a drink in Kente for the first time this weekend and it was a lovely little place, well priced. All I would say is that maybe a little non-intrusive background music would be nice as, despite the fair number of people in there, it was very quiet.

SA Festival Next Year?
I attended several of the events and enjoyed them a great deal, especially Amaretti Angels in the Italian restaurant. All seemed quite well attended and I wondered if someone in the know woudl be able to tell us if the whole festival was well attended, and most importantly- are we going to get ...

I had a look at the model and the plans in the bookshop and actually think the new proposals are pretty good and could have been a lot worse.

I am as annoyed as the next person that the original shop front has gone. However, I will not avoid the shop because of this, and I direct my anger towards Lewisham Council, who should have made it a term of the lease that the original frontage remain in place and failing that should have made it ...

Patio laying
Hi there,
I want to lay a patio and am struggling to find a recommended workman to do it for me. Has anyone else had a patio or driveway laid and can recommend a reliable person to do it? Or has anyone tried doing it themselves and is it worth the trouble?
Thanks in advance!
PS also is there ...

Incident in Lower Sydenham?
I was on the way home last night at about 10pm and there were lots of police outside the costcutter down the Mayow Road junction towards Bell green. There also seemed to be someone lying on the floor. No ambulance but something must have happened. Does anyone know anymore?

that's great, I know I am stating the obvious, but the more emails tfl get mentioning bus services in Sydenham (the 176 or indeed others) the more likely they are to review services in the area. It is great that we are going to have vastly improved rail links, but it would be nice to get decent bus ...

I would welcome a Pizza Express and I think this sort of reasonably priced family friendly restuarant would do very well. I went to the Mexican (to my mind the nearest equivalent in Sydenham) a couple of Friday's ago and it was completely packed- no tables at all.
