well, theres an empty shop a few doors down the road, and the rent there is £13,000 a year - according to the agents website...

the chemist does look like a really nice place to have a shop that would preserve the traditional features... i would like to see inside...

Does anyone know anything about the old Machray Chemist on the high street opposite silverdale road?

it looks like a great little shop with a history... and i cant even peek through the windows... its been sitting empty since i have been living here (just over a year)

and i would encourage people to use public transport wherever possible - its better that having 4 people carriers driving the streets of Sydenham...
