Suggest you talk to our very own and special Poodle Club about this and whether they might be interested.

Re: Mayow Park Bowls Green booked up all summer
I’m a regular to Mayow Park and I am very surprised to hear this also. I have never seen anyone use this space except for Spontaneous Productions.
I understand the local croquet club wants to move there from next year - no bad thing in my opinion, for I think it is currently extremely underused.

Re: how to get out of this mess
It appears people like yourself are symptomatic of the problem we are now facing. Careless disregard for the most vulnerable in society. People who fought in world wars for the freedom that you and everyone else enjoys. Disregard for those with long term health issues. Obviously disposable to you. I ...

Re: St Philip Neri school: Archdiocese appeals planning enforcement order
I feel your post has a rather condescending tone to it. Advisory and respectfully made requests perhaps - but each to their own. Does it really matter on whether it is a swift resolution? We have all been waiting for too long with this hideous monstrosity. I for one would rather wait a little ...

Re: St Philip Neri school: Archdiocese appeals planning enforcement order
This is a valuable commitment from Planning Aid for London and represents a hugely important step, Julia. I contacted Planning Aid for London, and they are currently organising legal advice for the case. This outcome, combined with your status for the purposes of the Inquiry places a very onerous ...

Re: St Philip Neri school: Archdiocese appeals planning enforcement order
I hope they will provide the docs. However if they are not provided you may wish to make a freedom of information request. This takes time and as such you may wish to make this application immediately. If you decide to do this be very careful in your wording of your request so that you are ...

Hello JRW
Have you considered approaching planning aid for London some help in this? They may also be able to provide advice on probono legal support?

What were they thinking
The mayor of London, Lewisham Council and Thames water have created an almighty eyesore at the entrance of the beautiful Mayow Park by erecting what must be the worlds ugliest water fountain ever, just yards away from an existing one.
What were they thinking?

Christmas lights
After years of very poor quality Christmas lights and a sad Christmas tree what a much better display we have this year. The lights are really quite professional and the Christmas tree on Queensthorpe is really lovely. So well done to all those who have helped to make such a massive difference ...

I Understand that the landlord has put up the rent at cherry and ice to an unaffordable level. I noticed today that everything except fixtures and fittings has been removed so it seems sadly unlikely that it will reopen. On more positive news, in terms of investment, I understand that the unit next ...

Re: Queensthorpe Road Smart Bench
Has anyone else noticed the state of the smart bench at the bottom of Queensthorpe? Good idea in theory but now looking an ugly and dirty state after just after year of installation. Underneath the bench is filthy, the wooden bench damaged, the paintwork now peeling and the structure rusting and now ...

Re: New houses
I’ve looked at the docs. The proposal is that the development will be car free. 34% of the units will be “affordable”. Of the affordable homes just over half (55%) will be affordable rent and just under half (45%) will be shared ownership. Affordable rent is usually about 80% of market rent and is th ...

So it looks like one of the reasons why Cherry & ice have closed for sometime is that it is diversifying.
New vinyl lettering on the window is promoting picture framing and mirror cutting services.
If they do it will be a very interesting and welcome addition to the high street!

Re: Sydenham Post Office to close for refurbishment
I personally think they have done a quite good job. A good sign outside, painted, a decent amount of stationary and a friendly service.
