Beckenham/Cricket Inter-Parliamentary World Cup
I was just listening to England / NZ on the radio and they plugged an Interparliamentary Cricket World cup, to be played in Beckenham It rather intrigued me given some of the touted players: Imran Khan, Jeremy Corbyn, ... Would definitely go along, but will not be around that day.. https://hub.tie ...

Re: 20 mph speed limits
I've participated in some community speed monitoring with the Met and we always ended up sending letters to those travelling at 25 or above. So I suspect that's a general rule for enforcement. The aim of 20mph zones isn't really to get everyone driving at 20, they are designed to lower the average ...

20 mph speed limits
Hi All 20 mph speed limits seem pretty widespread across Lewisham and elsewhere across SE London. I don't have any particular problem with them but I have a nagging suspicion that since the limits seem to be principally announced by painted signs on the road surface they have somehow "less official ...

any pubs in the locale showing Lions rugby?
Hi Does anyone know a local pub that might show Lions rugby games? They kick off around 8.30 am. Hypocrite that I am, I can't bring myself to subscribe to Sky but don't mind being in a pub where it's on in the background! My best bet (The Golden Lion) don't do Sky or BT sports, they tell me. Cheers ...

Re: any accurate election polling for Lewisham West and Peng
Couldn't find any polls myself, but for what it is worth (and probably not very much) betfair gives odds by constituency
and LW and Penge gives odds of almost a certainty for Labour. Closest are the Tories with 10/1.

any accurate election polling for Lewisham West and Penge?
Hi As per subject title, I am wondering if there is any decent polling for LW and Penge? Both electoralcalculus.co.uk and ukpollingreport.co.uk both signal the seat as safe-as-can-be Labour. (barely a dent from 2015 according to electoralcalculus). Is that credible? Not massively interested Brexit ...

Sydenham arts "Blow up" movie screening
To anyone who attend the Sydenham Lens: screening up of the movie "Blow up" recently, here's an interesting piece

Thanks for replying!
I tried an app but trying to spend less time staring at a smartphone in general.
PM or reply here if you want to firm something up. I check in reasonably frequently.

backgammon?
Any Backgammon players in Sydenham?
I am a complete novice but would welcome the chance for a game if anyone is up for it?
I remember there used to be players in the Golden Lion but haven't seen much of this in the recent times I've been
there.
Cheers
