I use buses fairly regularly and the only time I have ever seen abuse is when a DRIVER abused a passenger.

Savvy: There is no way a bus driver would allow 5 buggies onto a bus.

Why did the driver let them on? Probably because he was too stupid to bother.


Maybe he/she never wanted to be:-

1) Shouted at
2) Sworn at
3) Spat at

Or just verbally abused!

I had to pay £17 for a cab home and I am a pensioner.

I've not used cabs for ages but when I did they were usually £6.00 from Croydon to Sydenham so why did you pay almost 3 times that ?

It was maybe 10 yrs ago so are these the prices now ?

The bus carried on with its route anyway,why dump passengers if you are still going that way?

The bus would need to make up time, using Westwood Hill rather than Kirkdale saves valuable time.

My guess is that permission would have to be gained from the Dulwich Estate and then there's the toll.

Yes, the toll would be a huge problem, it would need to be widened to allow a bus through for a start, you should contact TFL and have a moan :wink:
