Well now we have it and what a farce !

I walked past the supermarket last night to see what had been done ........ Not much !!

What a joke ... all they have done is swap the produce and put up a few posters and change the baskets ?!

All that hope of a new facade and layout down the drain.

couldn't agree with you more Global ....... Sydenham is crying out for one or two bar/pub type establishments for the twenty/thirty something crowd. Hi My Girlfriend is now registered at the doctors by the bridge and said they are OK. It's a bit grim looking the outside (check out the other doctors comments in the forum). We went for our first visit to see the Midwife yesterday (through the surgery) and she was excellent.....Really down to earth ...

Lets hope it's the 'fresh' type of somerfield which would look cracking on the high st and be a worthy addition.
If however it is one of the other types (the older style) I think you're right ...... it will sum up the intentions of Sydenham High St.

It seems as though something is happening at the site of the old fishmongers on the high st.

I live on Newlands Park and would like recommendations of a good local doctor.
