Well SRB:
I’m not sure why it’s okay for you to contribute to a Forum without taking the time and effort to adhere to the English language principles?!
You have a lot to say too.

Re: Leaving STF
I don’t think there is any need for me to make peace with Sydenham.
From the outset I suggested to SEE3 that I set up business here – clear reasons provided- this was declined. Fast forward 3 years, I have offered to help via Admin.
This offer hasn’t been taken up either.
There is never a day ...

Leaving STF
I’m going to ask Admin to close me as a Member, again, I’ve not been able to find a way yet to do myself.
This may not interest you or perhaps you give a sigh of relief and think at least SEE3 will be given a break.

I've just noticed the 202 Bus thread has been locked.
This is my fault and am very sorry. At the time I was just making a straightforward link based on observation.

What’s outrageous?
Zanzibar: the club the visitors are all black and behave in a disordered way.

Re: Bus 202 to go double decker permanently from Sept
The most recent problem I had on the 202 from Blackheath to Sydenham around 4 pm and this is not unusual:
- Completely over crowded with school children
- Various people playing music
- Fat people – I was standing but even if I positioned sideways they had a job squeezing their way through

Finally visited On the Hoof today.
Just for a coffee and a chat. It was not busy at all but took around 20 minutes for our order to be taken.
Good coffee, I really liked the interior.
Service????

Re: Dangerous dog - Venner Road
Thanks Bensonby for your advise and I contacted the Police (101).
Although they will pass the matter on to local Police, they said it is a matter for the RSPCA or local Dog Wardons.
Therefore it is unlikely that I'll hear back from them due to 'nothing actually happening'.

Re: Dangerous dog - Venner Road
Thanks for your advice Rachel and I'll report to the Police.
A poster questioned via PM if they live on Venner Road but I'm quite sure they do. House on left corner as you come up Tredown Road.
Large dog statues above front door and fierce picture of dog on the gate ' Beware of Dog' sign

Dangerous dog - Venner Road
A less positive post I'm afraid.
Walking home on Venner Road this afternoon with my dog - there was a man who had great trouble keeping his dog under control. I'm unsure of the breed, but looks like a bit like a Pitbull Terrier. Unlikely since those are banned I think in the UK (?)

I know Lee likes me to try knew things:
Today finally got around to visiting Brown & Green in Mayow Park for brunch. Highly recommend
I prefer the interior of their CP cafe but Mayow is more spacious with great views across the park.
Both cafes are dog friendly too so now a local favourite for us.

Re: Zanzibar Xmas Newsletter
Lee,
This is not a subject which I’d normally post on. However like another poster, I also happened to be out jogging on the evening of this wake. It was chaos. There was a sense of things being out of control. If this is what the local residents have needed to endure then it is alarming. What I ...
