Issues aside, why don't you take a short bus ride or 8 minute walk to Penge East Station where there are faster more reliable services to Victoria? Jim Dowd really is a waste of space. Sadly people around here are too thick to look beyond the Punch and Judy politics of 'Labour good, Tory bad' and so he has a job for life.

Does anyone know anything more about the successor to That's Amore? Nothing seems to have happened for a while now.

Has anyone contacted Jim Dowd about this? What was his response? This sort of issue is what MPs are for but given the member's interest in this I can him coming out of it smelling of anything but roses ultimately.

Yes, that has always struck me as quite bizarre. Not sure why it is like that when passing trade must be invaluable to the success of an event such as this.

My first post having been a lurker for about 6 months!

I only moved to Sydenham in December but am encouraged by the developments in the area in this short time. Hopefully they will turn Kirkdale into an exciting place to live for all sorts of people. Long may it continue!
