The old fancy dress shop had a planning notice in the window and mentioned a canopy being built in the garden, maybe there?

We live in the area too and have 2 young kids. Lovely and quiet and very friendly. Sydenham wells park is great for kids. I never see trouble really. We moved from Fulham a few years ago and actually feel much safer here than SW London, good luck with the move:)

What a lovely addition to kirkdake, lovely atmosphere, great drinks and food, we will be back!

Lovely place, great addition to kirkdale. Even better if they had cheeses and meat too, lovely bread and cakes though.
