Sorry – no Dacres Wood Open Day tomorrow
We like to open the Dacres Wood Nature Reserve the last Saturday of each month, but sadly we can't do so tomorrow. Really sorry about this, because there are lots of other good things happening at the reserve.

Sadly, Sparticus, Sparrowhawks appear to be a bit Nimbyish - it's probably in their genes :D Sparrowhawks require woodland, or at least a small clump of trees, for nesting. We had a good bird walk this morning, the highlight probably seeing a sparrow hawk perched high up in one of the Turkey oaks in Dacres Wood.
