Re: Sockpuppets on t'other forum

Yes, as Rachael said I posted a topic a few days ago "Despite former threads I feel this forum is great for the local community" and I do feel that way. I am completely transparent as a person and anyone that knows, or knows of me will know this. As I said on SE23.life in my opinion both parties in ...

Re: Sockpuppets on t'other forum

I think everyone should give the moderators a chance and a little time to do what they feel is appropriate. They are obviously working hard to find the right resolution RE asking for nominations for new mods etc, and like all of us they are probably trying to balance work life and family life while ...

Re: Sockpuppets on t'other forum

I don't really want to comment, but will say that everything should be transparent.

I agree with Michael's comments, and have the utmost respect for Rachael.

I want SE23.life to have longevity and will do my best to support this as I feel it is a fantastic forum.

Re: Proposed new SE26.life forum

I also find this thread quite uninviting & I possibly added to that myself, though I didn't mean to.

I genuinely hope all have an amazing Easter & will not post on this thread again & wish everyone all the best.

Re: Proposed new SE26.life forum

Bookshelf AKA Steve Shaw (If that's you) give it a break & let others comment. Just to let you know peeps that come to get verified by me rarely buy sweets, but just pop in for a chat.

Anyway, hope all have a lovely Easter.

Re: Proposed new SE26.life forum

Do all know Steve Shaw of SE23.com makes around 10k a year from advertising on SE23.com. "Bookshelf" you are probably the said! And if you are you don't even live in London anymore never mind FH, but Wales. I rest my case! As far as I know all monies made from se23.life so far have gone into buying ...

Re: Proposed new SE26.life forum

Robin, I would happily say out loud who I think this ongoing sock puppet is (as various including Hillview, Foxtrot, Chippy etc on se23.com) if anyone asks, my main concern is that this person is just trying to stir up things here to save his own forum.

Re: Proposed new SE26.life forum

As Rachael points out, I am not an admin, mod, or financial supporter of SE23.life in any way. Though I have supported Chris's idea from the very start, from deciding on the name to verifying members & supporting his idea to start up this forum as to me it was a no brainer & would benefit the SE23 ...

Re: Proposed new SE26.life forum

Stuart, just to make myself completely clear, I do not in anyway think "Bookshelf" is posting on this thread as anyone else - though I think it's the same person who is posting on se23.com under a few different aliases & I have a very good idea who may well be behind it!

Re: Proposed new SE26.life forum

Hi Stuart Just to be completely clear, I wasn't for one second thinking you were "Bookshelf" I think "Bookshelf" could well be the same person who I think has also set up a few sock puppet accounts elsewhere! And as Appletree & Rachael have said, at the admin of SE23.com's request this is the only ...

Re: Proposed new SE26.life forum Unread postby BookShelf » 11 Apr 2017 14:57 Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer my moderators to be less full of hate. Bookshelf, I am wondering if your posts are sincere, given that your only 2 posts on this forum are the two on this thread, how did you come to this ...

Re: Proposed new SE26.life

I'd just like to add that Rachael brings a lot to SE23..life as a moderator & I for one appreciate her contribution as a local & person of knowledge for our local community.. I have no doubt if she takes part in anything within SE26 it will be for the right & appropriate reasons.
