Thats great news! I hope Mayow gets it! Has anyone been to Peckham Rye Park recently? They have a great cafe now and a lovely variety of spaces to enjoy. I know Mayow is a lot smaller but it could do with some improvenments - not least the children's play area. And a nice cafe would be great ...

I'm looking for a childminder for a couple of mornings a week. I wonder if anyone out there knows any registered childminders who may have the space for an 18 month old? I'd prefer it be somewhere within walking distance (we live on Girton Road). Cheers!

We've just had a beautiful double glazed sash made by a local company called Atamer Carpentry - 0208 653 8090. Very high standard of workmanship and a pleasure to deal with.

well... where to start... deli goods - good organic bread (especially sour dough), focaccia, yummy fruit tarts, chorizo, parma ham, fresh pesto, lots of wonderful cheeses - many from the UK, decent olives.... that sort of thing. Good luck and keep us posted.

I'm quite pleased about the arrival of the garden waste bins as it was always a struggle to get rid of that stuff before... there's only so much I can take to the allotment to compost. It's a great thought! I'd come and use it for sure... especially in the summer months. You only have to venture into the caf in Dulwich Park to see the potential. Mind you they have rather a lot of cash round those parts, they even have posh ducks in the ponds... by that I mean more variety!
