Hi All,
I'm looking for a cleaner to regularly clean our house in Sydenham and was wondering if anyone had a recommendation of a good and trustworthy cleaner? Many thanks, Tom.

Re: On the Hoof Bistro
Well done On the Hoof! We enjoyed a fantastic meal there last night and a few continental libations to boot. Teething issues almost non existent. I wish the team lots of luck and will be ploughing plenty of my personal income into it over the coming years as a regular.

Can't be long now until On the Hoof make their long awaited appearance on the High Street. Anyone know the latest?

Re: SYDENHAM'S POCKET PARKS
I have tweeted the arts festival to ask if they be utilising them this year. Seems to me to be a way of engaging the local community with both the local arts and the local landscape.

Re: Natural planning
'Natural planning' is a succinct way of summing up what is needed here in Sydenham. As is Lee's point of 'Vision'. We need both these things and we need a vehicle to bring them together and push them forward. I am very new to the area but I moved here because I sensed an undercurrent of creativity ...

Re: Re-engineering the high street
If On The Hoof can get onto the High Street then we might see some real change. They serve coffee as good as any Flat White, Foxcroft and Ginger or Speakeasy Coffee shop that Soho has to offer. Easily the best within a few miles - and on the basis I throw money I can't afford on coffee on an annual ...

Re: Old optition/On the Hoof
Which unit is this? I've been asking on the hoof for a while if they can get into the high street. Monmouth coffee on the main retail drag would certainly add some energy to Sydenham's regeneration.

Re: Pavilion closed
Yes of course MWAV - thanks for that. Yes, how could I forget, this was when Blair decided to continue the Major Conservative government spending policies. Odd how after the 2000 Spending Review our annual borrowing hit £20billion isn't it?! I wonder if that was anything to do with those numerous ...

Re: Pavilion closed
Not sure what's wrong with voting for a former public school boy? Are they not welcome in Sydenham? Much rather that than an inane bunch of debt racking idiots who a also attended public school (many of the Labour Party of the early 2000's) and have now left us in the mess we're in - Oh and sold the ...

Does anyone know when this is up for renewal or indeed anyone keen to join me in a 'Stop Southern Rail' campaign?

Is there anything we can do about the fact that Southern trains are a pile of s*it and run by incompetents?

Re: SUGAHILL
Just tried Sugahill. No croissants or pastries on a Sunday morning! I would have thought that an integral part of a 'good coffee shop'. Time to get 'On the Hoof' onto the High Street.

As will the metal ones that exist. They could have been treated to be resistant to graffiti. Vision is all I ask for!

Re: Sydenham improvement works
Wouldn't it have been lovely if someone with a design had been involved in the street furniture choice - not sure why something like this wasn't used http://www.benchmarkfurniture.com/stree ... _seafront/ as opposed to the cheap tat installed.
