I believe the tree was indeed donated by the people that sell them at the top of Queensthorpe.

Aplanda now has new owners and has been renamed Tops and Tails. Very happy with the dry cleaning and alterations we've had done there.

End of September seems impossible sadly. I'm hoping it'll be open in time for Christmas festivities.

I've never received such a letter.

I've heard of people querying their band and successfully negotiating it downwards. Never heard of a council changing the band unannounced. Seems unfair to spring this on you 25 years after it was classified! Do you know what band your neighbours' houses are in?

Outrageous, all these young/large/brown people taking up space on public transport. <sigh>

Anyway. Great news about the double deckers.

The morning overcrowding may have something to do with Adamsrill school opening its temporary site near Kirkdale.
