I have to say I find these objections very questionable.
In particular 3) 'global warming'. It seems extremely tenuous. Clearly no one will be arriving by public transport as they will have their own transport. So what diversion from public to private transport is there? Supposition or do you have ...

Noticed this morning that Somerfield are again selling 4 bottles of Ritmo for a tenner - £2.50 each.

I do not understand. 12 trains/hour (every 5 mins) is well within the capacity of the line betwen Sydenham and New Cross.

I know it is not Cobs Corner - but have you tried to turn right out of Silverdale? The pavement on the opposite side sticks out and with the keep left sign it now makes it a hazardous turn.
