Was wondering if there are any other recommendations? Ideally, I'd like to get a few quotes to replace our lean to. The link to http://www.edibespokebuilding.co.uk/ link broken.
I take it it's these guys?

recommendations for builder to lay concrete foundation for greenhouse
Title says it all really. I am not up to doing this myself, plus the area is prone to flooding so I want to some who knows their stuff.
Can anyone recommend or suggest anyone?

Not sure if this the right thread to post this, but was after recommendations rather than offers to do gardening per se...

Re: Sainsbury's Bell Green
Just spotted this on the BBC site:

So that's what the empty space is for...? Oasis. Hmm (Would rather have food.)

Re: Sainsbury's Bell Green
Bell Green Sainsbury's seems to have a lot of space now the magazines have been moved so lack of it can't be an issue. I do hope it's not going to turn into an Asda...

So this would mean they aren't going to use the gasholders' site... I guess by planning, you mean they have submitted a planning application for change of use etc. to the council?

Re: Sainsbury's Bell Green
Maybe it's a management thing - they are between managers? It's definitely got worse in the last few months. My mother's nearest one in Sheffield isn't like this.
Alas, it's not like there's much competition very locally,

Re: Sainsbury's Bell Green
I was wondering what/if something is going on at Sainsbury's. There are often empty shelves (I usually go mid morning Saturday or Sunday), and about a month ago, someone had evidently just upended a box of herbs and spices onto the herb and spice shelf. A week later they were in the same state, and ...

Re: Wells Park practice patients' meeting
I imagine so. Great it's in place but Sad it has to be. They were unable to offer him a normal working hours appointment, and this one was several days after he rang up.

Re: Wells Park practice patients' meeting
I migrated to Wells Park from the Sydenham Practice (because my GP moved there). It is very frustrating trying to get an appointment at WP but I am not convinced it’s different anywhere else in London. Once, after being vetted and rejected as a qualifying case for an imminent appointment (It was s ...

Reporters/paparazzi still there this morning presumably waiting to nab anyone who comes out of the flats outside of which it happened.

Re: Two people killed in Lennard Road
Really shocking. LIving in lowerish Sydenham I use Penge station to get to work, so arrived last night to find the road blocked off with lots of the police and reporters. (And reporters trying to find a way to sneak round the back to get photos, as I headed towards the park to get home... The main ...

Re: Co-operative Food store to rebrand as a Budgens store
I was joking about Tesco. I object to it on many grounds. Their cheap chicken and my vegetarianism don't sit well with each other either.
I don't know where to get ok bread from in the way home anymore though. Sainsburys at Sydenham station is the wrong direction.

Re: Co-operative Food store to rebrand as a Budgens store
What is going on in Budgens? Underwhelmed and generally disappointed when it opened, but when I popped in on Tuesday, half the shelves seemed empty. I used to like the Budgens when I worked in Crouch End, 15 years ago, but this one seems really trashy. Of course they don't help themselves in my book ...

Sydenham... so close to Crystal Palace and Dulwich?! Funnily I used to say the same when I lived in West Norwood.

Re: Does anyone else struggle with Wells Park Doctors?
I usually call at 8am on the dot and it is always engaged. Ten minutes of continuous calling and I may or may not get an appointment.
To be honest though this is no different from any other doctors' in London that I have been signed up with in the last 13 years, including the Sydenham Surgery.

Re: ,street lighting
They did this in West Norwood when I was living there. They put a lamp right outside my bedroom window on te house side of the pavement. (There was only about 6 ft of front 'yard' between the house and the pavement.) Had to buy blackout blinds. We actually don't really have enough lamps on my road ...
