I also agree with leenewham that the traders in the high street need to compete, but actually our high street has nothing to worry about as we only have chicken betting and pound shops and I don't see any of those in the list for the new development.

Is about time that all these horrendous places shut down! I don't know why some people are so against good shops/bars moving in. I wish we had more choice in Sydenham so I wouldn't have to shop in Crystal Palace or East Dulwich. How many more chicken shops and nail bars can we fit in our high street ...

So is the Woodman now going to be called the Greyhound? If that is the case, it will be very confusing!

That is a fantastic idea! As a mum of 2 living in Sydenham I think that a separate classified will help with the topics that I'm interested in.
