Does anyone know what's happened at Payless? It seems to have been closed since yesterday afternoon and there were police vans outside.

I hope everything's ok? It's not like them to close up shop for that long.

Well said! The thing that annoys me most is how many drivers seem to think stopping at the pedestrian crossing by the station is optional. I don't mean the ones that are speeding and don't see it in time, but rather the ones that drive through slowly right as you go to cross and then look at you ...

Thanks for all the advice. I do promise to be thoughtful. I've been relying on public transport for so long, and we'd like to start a family so I believe the car was a right decision *hangs head in shame!!*, but we'll see how it goes.
