Unfortunately Lewisham council neglected us up here in the renovations of Sydenham Road, so we are left to our own devices hence ‘Kirkdale Village’ which is the beginning of a traders/community group that can then officially apply for funding for projects via the Sydenham assemblies, and we need ...

I live in the upper bit of Sydenham if you will but would be just as happy in the Thorpes they are the ohh la la roads due to the historic importance and the architect ted Christmas who built them have a google and you will see.

We need as much support as possible from the traders and the local community to be able to achieve our aims. Next on the agenda for Kirkdale Village is a Loyalty Card scheme and a Street Beautification program.

Kirkdale Village Traders are planning a street party but not for the Wedding, it will be in assocaition with the Eden Project's Big Lunch on the 5th June we are just working on the venue.
