What I would give for Honest Burger to open up a joint in Sydenham...sydenhamboy wrote:Well said. Yes, It needs to be something special, perhaps a nice deli or a restaurant to compliment the new greyhound bar .. I even think a 'posh' burger place would work - of the GBK or Byron ilk.

Re: SYDENHAM LIBRARY (good) NEWS
Jimmy's Music for under-5's sounds great. Is this a weekly occasion at the library? I think my 3-yo daughter would love it..

Re: 3 Cheers for the Coffeeman at Sydenham Station!
Was hoping to see the Coffeeman this week (caffeine is of GREAT NEED to me right now it just so happens) but he's nowhere to be found, at least when I'm commuting in to get the 0814 Overground northbound! Anyone know if this service has been abandoned?

Re: Calling all iPhone/iPad & Android Users
Just tried now and this afternoon, still no luck. Thanks for your help and as this is purely a convenience just for me, don't spend too much time on it!

Re: Calling all iPhone/iPad & Android Users
Thanks, just tried now and got the Failed to Connect error message. Could you see any attempts to Connect via tapatalk in your server log? Happy to help troubleshoot for you if it's not too much a bother.

Hi admin,
Are you still planning on re-enabling Tapatalk for the forum? If it's not too much trouble it would be much appreciated!

Re: Calling all iPhone/iPad & Android Users
Much appreciated Admin! Hope that it's not too much of a hassle for you. Tapatalk is where I spend a lot of time on my mobile, as I'm a frequenter to other forums on Android development, home brewing, and baseball (you might have heard of that sport). Certainly handy to keep track of Sydenham ...

Re: Calling all iPhone/iPad & Android Users
I must have been one of the few enjoying Tapatalk integration! Since yesterday I can't connect to STF via the app on my Android phone, so I'm assuming it's been discontinued? I do prefer using it to the mobile view, but I'll manage. Thanks for all you do in running the forum.

Re: Lemon Tree
Came in with my family just after noon on Sunday and we were the only customers in the restaurant... A relief considering how restless a 5 year old and a 2 1/2 year old can get. The service was excellent and extremely kind to my kids - had a great lunch and took leftovers home. Recommended and will ...

Thanks Belle, will have to look into this! It would be a bit of a trek for us as we don't have a car, but this course does look excellent.

Marital Arts for 5 year olds
Hello, My 5 year old son has an interest in learning martial arts, mainly after seeing various superheroes in action. He might be a bit on the young side - I see there's a tae kwon do school on Kirkdale starting classes for 7 year olds - but does anyone know of schools or instructors in the area who ...

Re: Keen cycle nuts in Sydenham ?
Don't mean to hijack this thread, but it appears this is the place to be for the cycling nuts of Sydenham so I'll gladly join the crowd. I recently moved to Sydenham, and after going through constant ELL and Jubilee line delays in my first few weeks here, I'd like to pursue cycling opportunities ...
