Re: Knife crime in Sydenham
Sorry for opening my mouth before my brain woke up. I hate the thought of knife crime, especially as my son was a victim, stabbed 5 times waiting for a bus. Perhaps I am still angry with the leniency shown by our courts. Sad life if I have to voice an opinion via an alias.

Re: Knife crime in Sydenham
Softly, softly does nothing. So how about hard labour? Like breaking granite all day with only hand tools. Or we could send all our prisoners to Saudi Arabia. Or send them to some Pacific island where they are hunted by cannibals.

Re: Knife crime in Sydenham
Any youth who does not get a job or move on to higher education, should be forced into national service. And knife criminals etc should go to the front line in Afganistan. Make a man or woman of them.

Re: People power
Fed up with the police having their hands tied behind their back. Charge in,crack a few heads, arrest them all. The courts should give them a simple choice.6 years in prison or 3 years in the army. I did close yesterday afternoon, the scare went up and we find ourselves in a situation where insurance ...

Re: 255-269 Sydenham Road - Planning Application
Sydenham is meant to be on the up. I agree the design is typical of todays bland designs where they simply fill a vacant plot. But live and let live,we dont build Victorian any more, and people do need somewhere to live. Cant do anything about the cars, perhaps go back to horse and cart, atleast then ...
