Alexandra Park Defecator
2 weeks ago I saw a middle-aged woman with 2 dogs pull down her trousers in Alexandra Park and urinate on the path in full view of me. It was horrible. My friend told me that she saw the same woman a few weeks earlier doing a pooh in the park. She was fairly ragged looking with darkish skin and ...

Re: Suggestions for Local solicitor/conveyancer?
I wouldn't use anyone local if I was you. We used a guy called Paul Strube on Sydenham high street and he was dreadful.
Eventually we used KPM Solicitors in Chancery Lane. They were brilliant. Maybe a little bit more expensive but they're in a different league.

Re: Carpenter
Thanks for this post. We used Kastas to do our flooring. He was brilliant - fast, friendly, quality workmanship and... great price!

Re: DEAR PROPERTY WORLD
I've used Property World in the past and they didn't collect their sign after frequent requests. They love the free advertising. In the end I had to get rid of it myself

Boot Fair Saturday 28th April 2012 10am - 1pm
Holy Trinity Beckenham, 66 Lennard Road, London, SE20 7LX.
If it rains (you never know, it might) then the boot fair will be inside the church building.
There's also a cake sale for Esuubi (Uganda children's charity).

Re: Venner Road area - Bromley vs Lewisham
Hello We are a young family living in Byne Road. There are loads of other families living here too. Our kids go to St. Johns in Penge which is a great school. It is a faith school, linked to St John's Church in Penge. There are other good ones round such as Alexandra. Although we're in Lewisham, the ...

Re: Garden gates stolen from Byne Road last night
I wonder if they're really melting them down , or rescuing them from slavery. Maybe there's a field somewhere where gates can run free.
Hopefully thre's no utopia for wooden gates because that's what I'm going to replace it with.

Re: Theft on the High Street
I didn't realise the street drinking crew were a permanent fixture these days. Is England the only country in the world where it's legal to drink in public?

Re: Garden gates stolen from Byne Road last night
My gate was also stolen. Apparently one of them fell off the lorry and the guy at the end of Byne Road has got it. I heard it's quite an ornate one. I'm going to report it to the police tomorrow and let you know if I find out anything.

Both of my kids have been to Crystal Nursery on Venner Road next to Penge East Station. They've been quite happy there. I think there's a waiting list though. Cheers

Re: Keen cycle nuts in Sydenham ?
I commute from Penge East staion to Victoria on the train with my foldy bike, then cycle to Oxford Circus. It's a whole lotta fun. A few weeks a go I strapped a video camera to the front. Check out the results on youtube... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olZoq68IOhg
