No.. and I am now coming to the conclusion that it may be beyond the people involved to fix the problem in a time that would seem reasonable to the average customer... :roll:
Maybe BT Openreach have creamed off BT's most competent engineers..Leaving only the muppets at Bt telecom :lol:

My 18mth contract doe's not run out until June... So I suppose I have few month more, before I can walk away from this nonsense. I'm too skint to run 2 ISP's

They are digging up the road opposite the B&Q center again... this is just round the corner from the exchange..I wonder if this has any bearing on the problem... Virgin media is begining to look more attractive.... A friend commented to me that BT's problems are typical of technology based companies ...

Still only works some of the time.... but at least when its working I can connect to the web sites I want.
I spoke to BT today usual BS...My current complait is still open...since the 25/3/2010

OpenDNS allows you to connect to the internet via the their server..bypassing the BT servers

Sorry to hear about your problems. BT are notorious about filtering traffic on their network and when it goes wrong - it can go very wrong. This includes diverting traffic using their DNS. DNS is the system that turns an address eg sydenham.org.uk into a number which will find the relevant ...

My bt broadband died the day they did the upgrade 11/3/2010 at first the speed went to about 500Kbs then when complained it went up to 4mbs...but now I can only get the internet for about 10mins at a time and some web sites I can't connect to at all.
