VERY early Feb, as it turned out.

Went in there today: there are "LAST FEW DAYS" posters up, so I guess it won't be there for much longer. Not that there's much left, except perhaps for paint.

Contrary to a report I read a few weeks ago, Penge Homebase is one of the Homebase stores closing. Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware No official closing date yet, as far as I'm aware, but they are already reducing goods.

I've picked up a flyer for a concert of folk music (folk music meets classical, it says) followed by a ceilidh, on 16th November at 6.30 pm at St. John's Penge (next to the almshouses). £10 on door, cash or card, profits going to the Penge Debt Centre.
