I don`t find Ellie`s post very clear. What exactly does restoring "peak" services mean? Does this mean trains from East Croydon through Sydenham will be rush hour only and not throughout the day?

Which Southern service is being restored? Is it the stopping service from East Croydon to London Bridge?

I understand the plans have already been resubmitted and rumour has it they will get the go ahead this time

This must not be allowed to happen, it`s the last thing Sydenham Road needs especially as open overnight

Perhaps someone is using an electricity generator. Maybe one of the shops. If you are able find out where the noise is coming from and the noise is unreasonable, the Council may be able to help

Penge High Street has a Costa as well as independent local cafes so fingers crossed Sydenham too will have enough customers to support both.

We do have problems from time to time but not recently
