Yes, there are plans for the high street but they have been 'planning' them for the last five years at least and still we don't have a definite date!

Re: Kirkdale Village Constitution

Wow!

Now why can't central Sydenham work on something similar?

There have been lots of very similar ideas in the past...but nothing has ever materialised.

Re: Would you like to sell your goods at a Christmas fair?

Hi Bertie

Unfortunately, I don't think what you have in mind will be suitable. It is more of a table-top sale. It gets incredibly busy with lots of stalls, mainly for children, so there would be no room for furniture I am afraid.

I use Gurkhas regularly and I think they are a real asset to the high street (although the food can be a bit inconsistent - great sometimes, other times not so great for the same dish... anyway). If they are so successful then surely they have the resources to make some improvements to their ...

Please no! I'm sure whoever came up with the Catford Centre giant cat thought it was a good idea at the time. This mosaic may not be in the same league of awfulness but it is still pretty embarrassing. Get the obvious problems sorted out (shop fronts, dodgy pavements, safe crossings, vagrants etc ...
