Good news! A 9 year wait for a big Costa would have been rubbish.

Wouldn't surprise me. Just what the independent coffee shops need. A massive Costa. Still hoping it will be a pub

I am tempted to take the relatively well behaved nippers but am a bit concerned about the toilet situation.

They def do food somtimes. Whenever I've been there they've got pop up caterors in so to speak in. Last time I went it was ' old skool dinners' which was much better then it sounds!

My six year old goes to St Michael’s which she loves. We’re moving out of Sydenham and London soon and are struggling to find schools of the same standard.

Went here the other night which was really good. Only slight criticism is that they could do with dimming the lights a little.

Finally got around to checking out the night at the Bricklayers Arm’s. Had a really good time and will definitely be back. Good to see a dance floor of all ages getting into the same music. Made we wish I hadn’t sold my 1200s a few years back.

Maybe thats pure lakes plan to get their own back. Spend ages doing the greyhound up and then turn it into a greggs!

Seems like a huge waste of effort if it ends up as a costa/ Starbucks etc. also think it will appear out of place. In my view its best suited as an independent pub.

Also, the proximity to a pub must have been a consideration for people when buying / letting a flat.

Couldn't you say that about any accommodation located on a high street. Would have thought traffic noise would be more of an issue.
