The "plan" is that after the Olympics, Crystal Palace Sports Hall and Stadium become regional facilities (rather than national) under the LDA's responsibility. The LDA have pulled out of the park but my understanding is that they still have the lease on the Sports Hall and Stadium. Still doesn't mean the conversion will happen but I don't think that part of it is down to Bromley council tax payers.

CORRECTION- apparently Cator Road is in Sydenham, even though it's officially in LB Bromley.

Cator Road is indeed in SE26 as far as the Post Office is concerned. However, as it is in the Bromley Ward of Penge & Cator we have now officially annexed it to Penge!

We used it regularly - it reminded me of real butchers shops for my childhood. Also liked his pork pies. Slow shopping but quality. It will be missed. You can still find a quality butcher at Murray Brothers on Penge High Street.
