I stopped by at the Sydenham Road display last Saturday and was hugely impressed by the level of detail in the plans.

I agree wholeheartedly with all the sentiments above arguing FOR a cinema to return to CP: it would be great to have our own local cinema to Sydenham, especially one run by the Ritzy group. Is the petition still going? If so where can I find it?

I visited Inspire shortly after it opened. Am very impressed with the smart outside look of this shop and the interior. Staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient.

Well paultreacy, for what it's worth, I think the photos are lovely and reflect the spirit of London life. The girls were good sports! The cat burglar pics are particularly charming! Do hope you have an exhibition at the sydenham arts festival that's coming up.

But I love Garam masala, Trattoria and Gurkas. Would be great if we had a decent Tapas bar too. Golden City needs a "sprucing up" in my view - it's a little tired and food in my opinion isn't too great.

There's a growing list here of what's good about Sydenham Road.

As for groceries and food, OK Somerfield might not offer the choice of the super duper enormous Savacentre, but it's well within walking distance and keeps me on the high street. I might hop across to the Superdrug for toiletries etc ...
