Would be better if the pig is removed, the sign looks extremely cheap (old and new) - sorry! Like the rest of the design.

Is the high street having a re-vamp - pedestrian areas extended and some local shop signage being included - or is that incorrect?

It seems that most of the information I read about is based around regenerating the station area, the areas around the Sydenham library seem to be forgotten even ...

Kente, is one of the few places apart from SugarHill that serves soya milk for coffees etc ...really lovely to have this as I'm completely allergic to milk! The staff are friendly but it would be good if they could vary their food.
The outside space is lovely, nice to be away from the main road!

It would be great to have a fish monger and also a farmers market in Sydenham, ideal spot for a market would be next to the old HSBC.

Does anyone know how the Penge market was established?

Trains to Charing Cross

I agree with all of the previous posts, we should petition against this decision. One of the reasons my family and I moved to the area was due to the fact we could catch a direct train into central London. I think this would be detrimental to the regeneration of the area. Please keep us posted about ...

mosaic

Hi,
I'm new to the site and have just read some of the current threads.

Perhaps this has been discussed previously, apologies if it has - does anyone know about the procurement process for this project ie, how the artist was chosen for the project? For such a large scale project I would imagine ...

Comedy in Sydenham

I think a regular comedy evening would be popular in Sydenham - i would love it if the Dolphin or similar organised something. It would be great not to have to go the Crystal Palace/East Dulwich or central London to find an event.

I'm looking forward to the Sydenham festival but surely there could ...

This is my first posting onto the site.
I totally agree with both Greg and Ronski -the town planner should be made accountable for this atrocious piece of research (and also lack of development of the high street/environment!). The council's brief presumably was to encourage people to Sydenham, not ...
