I too have a female friend! She runs a forum, under her real name. And she has had some seriously nasty stuff written about her by some nutter. Put her name in a google search and pages of this stuff comes up. She was at her wits end as to what to do, especially in the light of many employers now ...

I think it would be very difficult to start up a new forum and attract new visitors when there is already a very 'successful' one in existence. I just don't like the attitude there!
