I see that UKIP is polling only a tiny proportion of the vote they received in last year's European elections, suggesting that Kilroy Silk was their real vote winner. That's a shame.

Admin, I'm done with it. I feel grubby just exchanging posts with that character.

I don't want this to escalate in to a war of words, so have sent you a private message to let you know my thoughts. So long.

I rest my case, admin.

Anyway, I give you my word that I will now take a 24 hour rain check, as I also have work to do. The only reason I posted again was to respond to your previous comments that put myself and Adam in an unfair light.

Adam, the sad thing is that he'll be back on here today, spouting more ill informed comments, because he has basically been allowed to get away with his actions of yesterday. It was you and me who were held accountable for the thread being cut. If you tell him enough is enough, he'll do the usual ...

Fishcox, you get the general idea as to the offensive rubbish that this 'anti-eu' character was coming out with. At first, his/her comments were only mildly offensive, so I thought I would do a little 'experiment' and press his/her buttons. As I suspected, they were harbouring some pathetic, nasty ...

I didn't ask your views on these subjects. I had guessed what they were. After your previous, shall we say 'colourful' rants against Europe, Labour and immigration, I wasn't expecting you to come back with comments like 'I support a woman's right to choose' and 'a person's sexuality is their own ...

Lewkip, looks like you've made a friend. Just out of interest, where do you stand on the issues of abortion, homosexuality (it's a sin, right, according to some of your European bed mates?) and Islam?

Greg, I actually agree with most of the points you make. I also hope that Sydenham gets some much needed diversity re. its pubs/bars. But not at the expense of the traditional pub, as has happened in many parts of London where the middle classes have moved in in their droves. As for the Dolphin, it ...

I actually think he's getting off pretty lightly for his sweeping generalisations. But then, in your case, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised as you do exactly the same thing ("most local pubs, the Dolphin especially, are generally full of kids from local council estates" - what?!?) Yes, Sydenham ...

It's not my favourite pub, but I've been in the Dolphin a few times and can't say that I've felt the threat of violence in the air. It's also pretty busy whenever I've been there. As for your comment that, "I am not sure where they get the people from (doubtless the estates of Bell Green and Catford ...

Coincidence?

Xaniba, someone else makes the exact same complaint on the se23 website (a character by the name of Baggydave - you can't miss him). I can't say that I've ever noticed the problem myself at Tescos London Road, so perhaps you both were there at the same time?

Be careful, stonepenge, he'll be telling you to watch your step in a minute  I guess if you're faced with the thankless task of being UKIP's candidate for Lewisham West, why not just spend your time having a go at other people's policies? On a more constructive note, I found the following Q&A ...

Alex, as a long time Labour voter who can't bring himself to vote for them again after all that has happened in the past few years, I guess I am one of those people who the Lib Dems should be targeting. I have no intention of voting Conservative. So I guess my main concern is highlighted by a recent ...

The UKIP bloke's name is Jens Winton. He's certainly got my vote. Appearing on a message board to bombard people with eurosceptic propaganda and make 'watch your step' type threats when they dare disagree...it's all terribly unBritish, isn't it?

My final word on the subject, anyone who is not up to speed on the whole Kilroy Silk/UKIP debacle, should check out the following link, which highlights why, contrary to comments on this site of a growing membership etc, this party and its scaremongering is going nowhere fast. http://news.bbc.co.uk ...
