Re: Bus Stops - Temporary or otherwise
Bus stops closed through the week outside Lidl and Newlands Park left a very long stretch for many routes.
It was observed by end of business Friday the stop at Lidls had re-opened.

Bus Stops - Temporary or otherwise
We are accustomed at this end of the borough to the inevitability of road works and the traffic control measures that come with them. In the last year or so it seems however, that bus stop closures alongside these measures are more frequent and now almost universally it is the case that TfL do not ...

Re: Who is going to win Beckenham & Penge?
Fascinating analysis - and obviously not in the style of St John Curtice.
How does one get involved in polls of this nature?
Do you have to set up your own study or poll group(s)?
Is there funding or allowances granted for the duration of the engagement?
I think we should be told.

Re: 8th June meeting: Bell Green & the Lewisham Local Plan
I planned to attend. I am a bit puzzled about you having to provide a certificate of public liability insurance. When hiring a venue for a public meeting, it is the normal practice for the venue for public and private meetings to have such a certificate of cover in place and for you, as a meeting ...

Re: New Marks and Spencer at Bell Green
A note of caution. Despite a fairly widespread welcome from residents of Perry Vale, Bellingham and Lower Sydenham to the introduction of this new proposal from M&S, it seems bodies from outside our area are less content. It appears FHSoc has taken to one of its old bad habits by submitting ...

Re: Bots are attacking again!
On a slightly wider but parallel front. My email spam filters have been flooded by a sudden increase in traffic as of Saturday 16 March too. The increase is in the range of 25 to 30 items per day with a few new items getting through the filters, requiring manual intervention. Most of the unwanted ...

Re: Bell Green Cycle Crossing
Thank you for clarifying the route involved. The proposal makes good sense. If the s106 monies for that proposal is held by LB Lewisham (amongst circa £2.4m of unexpended funds ingathered from the retail park development), do we know if LBL will proceed with the work as the condition that funding is ...

Re: Bell Green Cycle Crossing
Could this be a reporting error (second of sections highlighted in bold) from the South London Press item that describes the route being developed from Sydenham station - perhaps that should be Lower Sydenham station? The projects are dependent on the council winning Transport for London (TfL ...

Even more saddening - the front three panels on the memorial were reported stolen in October 2011. Simply put - over 12 years ago. This is how the memorial looked before the theft. http://lewishamwarmemorials.wdfiles.com/local--files/memorial:sydenham-south-suburban-gas-works-ww1-and-ww2-war-m/SBGGW ...

London City Airport Expansion: Fund-raiser for Planning Inquiry
London City Airport's planning application for expansion of its operations was rejected by LB Newham. Newham rejected it on the grounds of noise and the reduction of the long-established weekend respite by extending flying hours to include all day Saturdays. Expanded flight proposals would bring an ...

Whilst the email set the status as "Decided" the entry in the portal was set to "Withdrawn by Applicant".

Rumour is Ms Braverman is desperate for intel about where the trowel carrying terrorists hid their little boats before sailing out to the island roundabout illegally.
