In terms of KP Motors and the car wash, the guy who runs the garage says he actually owns the site so it's not an issue of him leasing the land for his business. He actually leases to the car wash - any building on that site would require a handsome pay off for him.

Hahahaha @JGD I have many a time considered putting stingers out and shouting "that'll learn 'em" but I know I will be the one going to the cells.

Hi Tadpole, while some of the noise may be quad bikes, the majority of the noise made on Sydenham Road is motorbikes/2 wheeled nuisances.

If it wasn't a nuisance for every other law-abiding road user, I'd suggest we got some speed bumps - it might improve quality of life!

I've tweeted @MPSSydenham today but they probably have bigger fish to fry like dumbasses sunbathing in parks

I have no idea but, living on Sydenham Road, I reckon they're going at about 35-40mph. I'm tempted to call the police as these are surely not essential journeys!

Just wanting to get an idea on who is planning on coming to The Dolphin tonight - I know Sydering is planning to be there but would be good to know if anyone else is. It will help manage my lofty expectations of a full pub.

Apparently gunshots in the air are to notify drug dealers that police are in the area - as potentially evidenced by the two police cars I saw/heard flying down Sydenham Rd

I definitely heard them in 2 different locations/directions so yes seemed like they were moving.
More police on their way down Syd Rd just now

No I heard it too on my way home. Police immediately went past on Sydenham Road and another car just went by.

I heard four gunshots around by the Alfred way and then 3 more towards Kent House Road way

I've been into the Dolphin on Sydenham Road and they're fine for us to come in on Wednesday 25 September - may I suggest from 7pm? I know there are other pubs in Sydenham and hopefully we'll get to do a social tour of them over the next few months but thought it would be nice to move away from the ...
