Looks like there is a planning application in to change the Co-Op from a retail space to a gym. Can't access the supporting documents at the moment, but the agent dealing with it also manages the portfolio of the Gym Group.

Does anyone know more?

Just saw that permission has been granted for the old Toys R Us in Bell Green to become an Aldi.

Does anyone know what was happening in Lower Syd last night? There was loud music, shouting into microphones, thumping bass etc until about 3am.

That is fair enough. It is more the use of "we" and the implication that they are speaking on behalf of Sydenham that is problematic. That said, unless other voices make themselves heard, this would be a reasonable assumption for the Council to make.

Great to see an organisation like this trying to invest in Sydenham. Let's hope that it doesn't fall victim to the usual well intended obstruction...
