Had cod and chips last night and confirm the cod was 100% as good as it always was.

Tyre shop on Southend Lane is next to Serk Motors in the old petrol station,very tidy and clean,cannot believe they are related to Sydenham Tyres.

Use the tyre shop on Southend Lane,it has plenty of off road space and is not a nuisance,been there twice recently ,cheap and quick,with no overflow onto the pavement.Boycott that tyre shop on Larkbere Road,that will hurt them and it should.

The owners of the site have been there since the 70's,the original Volkspares business owner's wife I believe.The business only was sold in 2004,going bust in 2017.The site owners have relet the premises to a new chap who will reopen as Sydenham Auto Services. The new ramps are in place and the new owner will be renaming the garage with the new signage going up soon.After a long period under previous owners the inside needed a lot of work doing to it.

Had no accidents in thirty years until THAT junction,it needs fixing,inside lane for left only heading up the high street.

New owner opening the garage again in new year,a warning to serial random parkers there,warning signs against it from Monday for refurbishment.

Don't be fooled my the other discount MOT companies,they get you in and sting you on sky high repairs.Knighton's will be honest and don't get pressured to failing your car by head office.Recommended by me,MOT test passed on Tuesday.

Update on the Volkspares site,it's forty council flats not twenty.No Idea when the redevelopment starts

I heard a rumour the old Volkspares site will be new council flats,twenty was mentioned.

No longer,closed last Friday,company gone bust
