There will be Oyster Card readers at the entrance to both platforms 1 and platform 2 - so you will still be able to enter and leave the station from both platforms as you can at present.

it wouldn't be too hard to erect barriers across the end of the platform just as you turn left after entering the gate. the trains stop a bit further up from this point.
