Re: a 60 foot (5G?) mast is coming to Newlands Park

Thanks for the information JGD. As from what you say, It does seem inappropriate to be placed on a public footpath. Planning will only consider objections on site and design. the detail that its 5G is allowed to be omitted from the main planning document. I have put my objection in as I believe a ...

Re: Young Ginger Cat - Stray?

Thanks for your posts. Im down near Penge East station and he was sheltering in our front garden. He/she wasnt there lastnight. The night before I had tried to bring him into my house so i could feed him and get a better look at him. although he was friendly, he was understandably cautious so I ...

Young Ginger Cat - Stray?

Hi

Seen a ginger cat around that havent seen before - no trouble but just looks lost curled up sleeping outside in the rain last night. He has a dodgy tail - maybe had a recent accident. I know cats usually are near home but cant quite find their house so i am thinking hes near home.

After watching Gordon Ramseys kitchen nightmares put me off eating in a restaurant never mind a takeaway. When I do go out I try to pick anything but chicken as its bound to be cheap broiler chicken. Some time ago I found a website that was run by the council that rated the hygiene of all the ...

I havent been to the dulwich wood house for years. My last experience ( a very long time ago and I have not forgotten) of food was a plate of overcooked slop on a plate. Its a shame that its been sectioned off as I too liked sitting by the windows after a sunday walk in the woods. In fact I have ...

Shoddy treatment for car drivers, even shoddier treatment for pedestrians. They should put ina temporary crossing if they take one out just like when they have temporary stop lines to keep both lanes of traffic moving. They should Not be allowed just to take out a pedestrian crossing without ...

Didnt John Major and Edwina Currie have an affair? There is quite a turnover with shops here and we do have quite a few empty. Thought its one way to be idealistic and say what type of shops we would like , however realilstically would they survive, would we use the shop. I think I would like to ...

It would be lovely if the high street could go under a regeneration to the effect that one could shop there. However, the reality of it is is that a majority of people do their big shop in Supermarkets. There doesnt seem to be that much money in Sydenham hence the pawnshops and the £ shops. I havent ...

The whole thing is a complete mess for the locals. I agree that the livelihood of the high street is at stake. Also cutting off access to a crossroads is very dangerous since there is no temporary crossings near somerfield and slaters and its off putting to try and cross. There is an accident ...

Yes, I am all for joined up thinking. I never park directly at a bus stop nor do I park at the edge of the junction, this was something I learnt prior to passing my driving test, and is part of the highway code. This is how I now see it. Looking at the section of road this proposal affects, break it ...
