I used to go to the open days every year in the mid- late 60's, and very good they were too. I'm sure one year there was a well known pop group playing. Happy memories, as I lived local in lower Sydenham ( Milverton House flats opposite the gasworks ).

Quite right ' The Eagle', I used to push on the backdoor (sometimes) to let my mates in. also 'Saturday morning pictures' as we called it was great for us kids back then, but sadly something cinemas don't do anymore.
