I think that visible speed cameras are great for making people slow down at specific places - concealed ones arn't.

I'm from Victoria, but I havn't been back since 2004. The article says mobile speed cameras not concealed....so perhaps they are making them obvious now. I doubt it, though.

I think it's great that you are told where speed cameras are and there are markings to tell you, plus most of them are bright yellow. They do the job of making you slow down. In Australia they hide them in unmarked cars, so they don't act as a deterrent on dangerous bits of the road...they just ...
