Here are some images of the Crystal Palace post the 1936 fire, which came my way via ebay recently.

General carnage.

The remains of the central granite steps [still there] and the staircase installed in 1911

Looking south past the facade of the Alhambra Court.

Can't believe I can't believe I forgot this auction was on .

I was hoping to see the furthest entrance to the Egyptian Court, the only one missing from Falkor's excellent thread on it.

Anyone have a copy they could post to the forum?
