Please dont make it a pm as we are all interested in the area,specially as wells park hall is being demolished as we speak. seems such a shame to make place for a hall that nobody knows anything about

Slightly going off the subject, I noticed today that ther are drawings on the road in Taylors Lane,indicating " Humps". Does anybody know anything about this. Although I must say they are long overdue.

Has anyone any news about this shop, lovely shop equally nice owners. They have been there for years.
This forum just lately seems to be more about babies, nurseries, pre-school etc rather than whats going on in the high street

I agree with Lee it is a waste of an oppertunity It's in a prime position,will have the park next to it.Perfect for lots of different business's but a funeral parlour,for god's sake

I believe Raglan Street is now called Clyde Vale its in Se 23.Iused to live in the area in the early sixties and I'm sure it said after Clyde Vale {late Raglan Street]

I think they set the fire in that location, because the resident has just had the fence replaced,and I suppose these low lifes thought if they have money to put up a new fence then we can burn it down!

They are basically a blot on the landscape and very jarring.

Why suggest block off w.pk.road area .Some of us live in that area and not in kirkdale village. It is very unfortunate that some of us live in the area where they are opening the new youth centre and have not had any say in the matter!!!!!!
