Any more news anybody? Just want Kent House Road open again and for our bus service to be reinstated! If you know how long they're saying it'll be now I'd love to hear it - it's already gone past their longest estimate when it began!

Just wondered if anyone has any inside info about when Kent House Road may be open again? Still missing our bus service, and it has run over the maximum amount of time they said it would be initially.

Just a long shot, anyone from Kent House Road on here... did you hear the moron last night going up and down the road at 1am on something with a VERY loud engine?? Woke me up about twice during the night... just wonderd if anyone else suffered, and if you knew anything else about it??

I agree with the above posts - if they could at least spell 'neighbourhood' correctly that would be a good start!!! I keep wondering if there's something I don't know - like surely whoever put that sign up can't be THAT illiterate!?? So IS there a such word as 'naborhood' or however they've spelt it...

What is it with Sydenham and the possessive apostrophe? We add it where it isn't needed [as in the Two Half's pub] and omit it where you would expect it. Odd. It occurred to me recently that everyplace I go in SE London lately there's roadworks, my road, i.e. Kent House Road, Sydenham Road, Catford Road, Perry Hill... even further afield. There's even some going on opposite my flat! I just don't know why it's suddenly happening everywhere making London se...

If you don't mind queuing for a cross trainer etc then go for it... or perhaps the refurb was to diminish that problem!?

I can't say for sure, but my mum lives just behind The Perry Hill and neither of us have ever seen in particularly busy. I'm thinking they went a bit too posh - it's Catford not Chelsea - and couldn't get enough customers. Wonder what will be next for the old Two Brewers??
