I thought I'd 'big this up' as it looked interesting and it's down my end of Lower Sydenham (Upper Beckenham/Even Lower Dulwich village) in the magnificent Livesy Hall (Tudor Livesey Hall – Perry Hill, Perry Vale SE6 4HD, next to Bell Green gasworks to be exact) at 8pm.
Here is a bit of blurb from the rather excellent Sydenham Arts website: Let us transport you to India for a night: experience the music and dance of this fascinating country’s rich cultural heritage here in Sydenham!
Bollywood films and music have been capturing the world’s hearts for many years now and, aficionado or not, here is your chance to come along and sample some of the best in Indian music, dance and food.
There will be Bollywood films on show, and opportunities to dance Bollywood-style yourself. A not-to-be-missed event for anyone who loves the Bollywood sound – and those who’ve yet to discover it!
Please note that the ticket price does not include food, which will be on sale separately (supplied by Ghurkas apparently, so worth it for that alone!).
