Subject line

Post by Steve Grindlay »

A small point, but I imagine when someone posts a new topic what they put in the subject line becomes the name of that topic. However, when somebody posts a reply within a topic, they are again offered a blank subject line. Some fill it in (with what they think the topic was) , some don't, and it doesn't seem to matter. I was initially a little puzzled as to what I should put in the space, so put nothing. Would it be possible to remove the subject line when somebody is posting a reply? Alternatively, perhaps it could be autofilled

I agree with you Steve. I need to modify the template and make sure it is not used for the original posting (when it is necessary).

The problem is that I appear to have already broken the HTML which is why the attribute boxes are not working (see seperate eror report). I need to backtrack and sort that before doing any new 'hacks'.

I'm on hols next weeks so this won't be too soon.....
