Right, firstly, those that call me paranoid/nosey in relation to this thread you're probably right but this question has been bugging me and alot of other people for a long time now.
I live in the Thorpewood avenue area of Sydenham and Forest hill and have lived in the area all my life. On the corner of Thorpewood avenue and Radlett avenue there is a house that nobody has EVER seen any human activity or presence and there has never been any for sale signs attached to the property. The place in question has an erie feel to it and to be honest it creeps me out. People who live in this area WILL know what I'm talking about. This may seem rude but any information on the property in question or the owners would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Mysterious house

Zozo, If you walk up Thorpewood avenue starting at the bottom walking on the left hand side it is the last house on Thorpewood avenue before you turn into Radlett avenue. It has a black roof and the brick work is bare (not painted).
I have absolutely nothing against the owners but I along with a lot of others in the area are just a little puzzled that there has never been anyone seen entering, leaving or tending the front garden. I heard a rumor that it is somehow connected to the witness protection service but that sounds like utter bollocks due to it's close proximity to a school.

I think I know the house you mean. If it's the one I'm thinking of I think there used to be a very old lady living there (maybe up until the early nineties?) The witness protection link sounds intriguing! Maybe it's just been abandoned/ owners have gone awol? I go past often but have not taken any notice of it for years. Is the garden overgrown or does someone come and tend it by dead of night?...
